Research activities span a wide range of disciplines, including Community Medicine, Medicine, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Surgery, Dermatology and allied specialties with studies addressing local health priorities, disease patterns, diagnostic modalities, and treatment outcomes. The institution has a well-established Scientific Committee and Institutional Ethics Committee, both of which meet regularly every month to review, guide and monitor research proposals, ensuring methodological rigor and strict adherence to ICMR ethical guidelines.
